The Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana has confirmed that nearly 93 lakh electors who submitted their enumeration forms during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls will receive notices from their respective Electoral Registration Officers (EROs). The draft rolls have been published on the Election Commission of India’s website, where voters can check their names. They can also verify their details by sending an SMS to 1950 in the format 'ECI
The notices are being issued to two categories of electors: 60,50,918 with anomalies or logical discrepancies, and 32,36,659 who did not provide details during the 2002 Special Intensive Revision. Together, they total 92,87,577.
CEO C. Sudharshan Reddy explained that the notices will be delivered through Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in a prescribed format. Electors must furnish their replies through the BLO. The verification process will be carried out by 119 EROs, 892 Assistant EROs, and 500-1000 additional EROs. All forms must be processed before the designated date of October 15, 2026.
