Tripura Business Conclave to Target ₹1 Lakh Crore Investment Proposals

Agartala is set to host the 'Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026' on July 9 and 10, 2026, at the International Fair Ground in Hafania. The event aims to highlight the state's investment opportunities to domestic and international investors.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, after inspecting preparations on July 5, stated that the conclave could generate investment proposals worth ₹1 lakh crore. He noted that last year's event resulted in signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) totalling ₹30,000 crore. 'There is a possibility of getting investment proposals to the tune of ₹1 lakh crores,' Saha told a preparatory meeting attended by senior officials.

The Chief Minister expressed optimism that the conclave would serve as a platform to showcase the state's potential. 'It will help create job opportunities and enhance per capita income and the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP),' he said, adding that the government is committed to thorough preparations.

According to officials, approximately 500 investors, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from India and abroad are expected to attend. Twenty exhibition stalls will be set up by various state departments at the venue.
