IMD Predicts Light Rainfall in Delhi-NCR from June 18 to 21, Temperatures to Stay Below 40°C

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall, thundershowers, and strong winds across Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) for the period from June 18 to June 21. This weather activity is expected to provide relief from the prevailing heat in the region.

According to the IMD, the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy during this period, with intermittent rain occurring in several areas. However, the Meteorological Department has not issued any weather warnings or alerts at present.

A key relief factor for residents is that maximum temperatures are unlikely to exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days. Weather experts attribute this to the combined influence of western disturbances and local weather systems, which are expected to keep temperatures under control and create relatively pleasant conditions.

Meteorologists noted that strong winds and intermittent rainfall will help prevent extreme heat conditions. While residents can expect relief from heatwave-like conditions, some areas may experience humid weather.

Overall, cloud cover, rainfall, and gusty winds are anticipated to keep temperatures within the normal range, making weather conditions more comfortable across the NCR in the week ahead.
