DDA offers 25% discount on 1,200 Narela flats for government and corporate employees

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced a 25 per cent discount on 1,200 ready-to-move flats in north Delhi's Narela area under a new scheme. The scheme, named 'Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026', is aimed at serving and retired government employees as well as professionals from the corporate, business and entrepreneurial sectors, according to a DDA official.

The flats are located at Pocket-11, Sector A1-A4 in Narela, and include 1 BHK, 2 BHK, and 3 BHK configurations. After the discount, prices start at Rs 33.40 lakh for a 1 BHK, Rs 75.55 lakh for a 2 BHK, and Rs 1.065 crore for a 3 BHK. Registrations are set to begin from Friday, the DDA said in a statement on Wednesday.

The discounted offering is part of a series of steps taken by the DDA to offload housing inventory in Narela, where it has faced difficulty finding buyers for several years. The authority has previously introduced similar schemes to attract buyers to the area, which is located on the outskirts of Delhi.

The DDA's move comes amid efforts to boost affordable housing options for working professionals in the national capital. The scheme is expected to benefit those who meet the eligibility criteria, including government employees and corporate professionals.
