Fire Near Ayodhya Helipad Extinguished Before CM Yogi Adityanath's Arrival

A fire broke out near the helipad at Ram Katha Park in Ayodhya on Friday, minutes before Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was scheduled to land. Officials confirmed the blaze was brought under control without any injuries or loss of life.

The fire reportedly started close to the helipad designated for the chief minister's arrival and spread towards the nearby Saryu Guest House. It affected an area of about 15 metres before fire brigade teams extinguished it.

Security personnel at the site initially attempted to contain the flames. Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and whether any lapses in safety or security arrangements contributed to the incident.

Ayodhya Circle Officer Ashutosh Tiwari said the fire had been brought under control and there were no casualties. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya to participate in several programmes and public events as planned.

Authorities are examining the circumstances leading to the fire. No further details were immediately available.
