Telangana ASDD List 2026: Check If Your Name Is Missing From Voter Roll
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Telangana has published the list of electors whose names were not included in the draft electoral roll during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026. This list, known as the Absent/Shifted/Dead and Duplicate (ASDD) electors list, is now accessible on the CEO's official website. It enables voters to verify whether their names have been left out and understand the probable reasons for non-inclusion.
According to a press note issued by the CEO's office on Monday, August 17, 2026, booth-wise lists of electors have been displayed on notice boards at Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) offices, Grama Panchayat and Municipal offices, and polling stations. These offline displays are intended to give the general public easy access to the lists and the reasons for non-inclusion of names. The lists have also been uploaded on the CEO's website and the respective District Election Officer (DEO) websites.
How to check the ASDD list online
To access the list online, a person needs to select their district, Assembly constituency, part number, and part name. The online list provides details such as the voter's name, EPIC number, relative's name and relation, part number, and the reason for not collecting the Enumeration Form. Common reasons listed include 'permanently shifted residence', 'dead', 'already registered', and 'missing/absent'.
However, the ASDD list on the CEO's website has been published only in Telugu. This has created a difficulty for people who cannot read the Telugu script, limiting their ability to verify their names independently. Voters who face this challenge may need assistance from local election officials or use the offline facilities to check their status.
Draft electoral roll and enumeration details
The draft electoral roll for SIR 2026 was published on the same day, August 17, 2026. As on August 10, 2026, the total number of electors in the state was 3,38,26,448. During the enumeration phase, which took place from June 25 to August 10, 2026, a total of 2,64,87,213 Enumeration Forms were digitised.
The ASDD list includes as many as 73,39,235 electors. This number is broken down as follows: 9,22,229 deceased, 11,25,546 untraceable or absent, 45,18,963 permanently shifted, 6,70,203 already enrolled in another place, and 1,02,294 under the 'others' category. It is important to note that being on this list does not necessarily mean a voter has lost their right to vote; it indicates that their name is not in the draft roll for a specific reason, and they may still file a claim for inclusion.
Claims and objections window
The claims and objections period runs from August 17 to September 16, 2026. During this time, electors who were unable to submit their filled-in Enumeration Forms within the specified period (June 25 to August 10, 2026) may file Form 6 along with the prescribed Declaration Form for inclusion in the electoral roll. This period also allows voters to request corrections in their particulars and to raise objections against any wrong inclusion in the draft roll.
The CEO's office has urged all citizens to check the ASDD list and take appropriate action before the deadline if their names are missing. Ensuring accurate electoral rolls is a crucial part of the democratic process, and the authorities have made multiple channels available for public verification and dispute resolution.
