Osmania University Postpones July 24 Exams Amid Statewide Bandh Over Education Issues

Osmania University has postponed all examinations scheduled for July 24, 2026, in response to a statewide bandh called by left-affiliated student unions. The bandh is being held to protest issues concerning educational institutions across Telangana.

The Controller of Examinations issued a notification on Thursday, July 23, 2026, stating that all examinations under the university's various faculties scheduled for July 24 stand postponed. The university has assured that a revised timetable for the postponed examinations will be announced in due course.

The notification has been communicated to principals of constituent and affiliated colleges, heads of departments, chief superintendents of examination centres, and students concerned. Students are advised to stay updated through official university channels for further information on the revised schedule.
