NEET UG Re-Exam 2026: Final Day to Challenge Provisional Answer Key Tomorrow

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the objection window for the NEET UG re-examination 2026 provisional answer key on June 28 at 11:50 pm. Candidates who appeared for the re-exam on June 21 can review the provisional answer key and submit challenges online through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question applies to each challenge. However, if the expert panel accepts a challenge, the fee for that question will be refunded.

The NTA has stated that objections can only be submitted online. Challenges sent via email, fax, post, or any other mode will not be considered.

Candidates must use the Question Paper Series Code printed on the cover of their test booklet when raising objections. If an objection is accepted, the revised answer will be applied uniformly to all candidates across all four question paper sets. Candidates do not need to submit the same challenge separately for different series codes.

The final answer key, prepared after reviewing all objections, will be considered final. No further grievances will be entertained after the objection window closes or the result is declared.

The NTA clarified that individual scanned OMR response sheets are not yet available because the scanning process is ongoing. Candidates will have a separate opportunity to view their scanned OMR sheets once scanning is complete.

Steps to raise objections:

1. Visit neet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the NEET UG Re-Exam Answer Key Challenge link.
3. Log in using application number and password.
4. Enter your Question Paper Series Code.
5. Select the question(s) to challenge.
6. Upload supporting documents in PDF format (preferably from NCERT or standard textbooks).
7. Review all challenges carefully; no changes after final submission.
8. Pay the fee (Rs 200 per question) and submit.
9. Download and save the acknowledgement receipt.

After submission: Subject experts review all objections while OMR scanning continues. If a challenge is valid, the answer key is revised and applied uniformly. The fee is refunded for accepted challenges. The NTA will publish the final answer key before results, without communicating individual outcomes.

Result timeline: The NEET UG re-exam 2026 result is expected in July, though no official date has been announced. Historically, results are declared within 40–45 days. Candidates should monitor the official website for updates on the final answer key, scanned OMR sheets, and results.
