The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2026 on Tuesday, June 23. One candidate achieved a 100 percentile in four out of five opted subjects. Additionally, 22 candidates scored a 100 percentile in three subjects, 180 in two subjects, and 3,214 in one subject, according to the agency.

The Tamil Nadu government, led by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, has approached the Supreme Court challenging orders of the Madras High Court regarding the lighting of a lamp at a stone pillar near a dargah on Thirupparankundram hill.
