Student Group Plans June 20 Protest in Delhi Over Exam Irregularities

A student-led group, headed by Abhijeet Dipke, has called for a peaceful protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on June 20, urging students and job aspirants to gather over persistent concerns about paper leaks, examination irregularities, and recruitment delays.

The group, which has previously organised demonstrations in cities including Amritsar, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Lucknow, described this as the 'final call to save the future of students' in a post on social media platform X.

This will be the group’s second protest in the national capital, following a series of actions that ended in Jaipur, where Dipke was reportedly assaulted.

The call comes amid growing public debate over the integrity of competitive examinations in India, especially after controversies surrounding the NEET exam, recruitment tests and other entrance examinations.

The group has consistently demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak case and the CBSE OSM issue.
