NTA to Release NEET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key for Over 20 Lakh Candidates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the provisional answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2026 re-examination. The exam was conducted on June 21, 2026, for over 20 lakh candidates across 5,440 centres in India and 14 centres abroad.

According to the official Information Bulletin, the answer sheets are evaluated with extreme care and repeatedly scrutinised. The OMR sheets are machine-gradable and evaluated through impartial software.

The provisional answer key will be published on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will have a specified period to raise objections online. Challenges will be verified by a panel of subject experts, and if found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly.

Based on the revised key, the NTA will prepare the final answer key, which will be used to declare the NEET UG 2026 results.
