India Under-19 lose second one-dayer despite Anvay Dravid's 87

Anvay Dravid, son of former India captain and head coach Rahul Dravid, top-scored with 87 off 67 balls in the second one-dayer against Sri Lanka Under-19 in Hambantota on Monday. However, his knock went in vain as India lost by eight wickets.

India, after being put in to bat, posted 251 for 8 in their allotted 50 overs. Anvay, who kept wickets, played an aggressive innings, hitting nine boundaries and a six. He was the only Indian batter to cross 50, as the rest of the line-up struggled to build partnerships.

In response, Sri Lanka chased down the target with 6.1 overs to spare, led by a century from their opener. The Indian bowling attack failed to contain the Sri Lankan batsmen, who reached 252 for 2.

India have fielded a largely new-look squad for this series, with no players from the Under-19 World Cup-winning team earlier this year. Yashbardhan Chauhan of Madhya Pradesh is leading the side.

In the first one-dayer on Saturday, India had won by four wickets, chasing 320 in the final over. The series now stands at 1-1, with the third and final match scheduled for Thursday.
