Five dead, including three pilgrims, in two separate J&K road accidents

Five persons, including three pilgrims, were killed and six others injured in two separate road accidents in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda and Reasi districts on Wednesday, police said.

In the first accident, three members of a family from Nagrota died while returning from the Machail Mata Yatra. The crash occurred at 6:30 pm in the Malhori area of Assar tehsil in Doda district. Two others sustained injuries and were taken to the Doda government medical college for treatment.

In the second accident, two women in a car died at around 1:30 pm in the Chiral Shajroo area of Reasi district. Four others, including three children, were injured. Authorities have initiated a probe to ascertain the cause of both accidents.

Kashmir's Sufiyana Music Moves for UNESCO Heritage Status: CM Writes to Centre
