Police in Delhi have arrested four siblings for allegedly running a drug syndicate from houses in Jahangirpuri, North West Delhi. The accused, identified as Paro (28), Usha (25), Kanta (35), and their brother Amit (30), were found to be illegally selling psychotropic tablets and injections, including Avil (used for allergies) and Naloxone (a strong painkiller).
According to DCP Akanksha Yadav, a raid at a house in D-Block led to the recovery of 1,300 Addnok-N tablets containing Buprenorphine and Naloxone, 310 Avil injections, 652 syringe needles, and Rs 1.25 lakh in cash. The three sisters were arrested from that location. They revealed that they were in contact with a man named Sachin, who is allegedly part of a larger organised network supplying these drugs in the capital.
Further searches based on their disclosures led to the recovery of 400 additional Avil injections and 1,880 syringe needles from another house, along with Rs 63,000 cash from a premises used for storing contraband by the absconding associate. Police then traced Amit, who was hoarding supplies at another nearby house. A fourth raid at Amit's residence yielded Rs 20.14 lakh in cash, gold jewellery weighing 241 grams, silver ornaments weighing 2.4 kg, and documents relating to 11 flats owned by Paro, each valued at approximately Rs 12-15 lakh. A brand-new TVS N-Torq scooter registered in Amit's name was also seized as suspected proceeds of crime.
