CUET UG 2026 Results Expected Soon: NTA to Release Scorecard This Week

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the results for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 shortly. Candidates can check their scores on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. The NTA has already released the final answer key, and the result is anticipated early this week.

The CUET UG 2026 examination was conducted from May 11 to June 7 across 35 shifts nationwide. Changes to the schedule occurred due to the rescheduling of Eid al-Adha, affecting exams originally planned for May 31 and June 6-7.

A total of 15,68,866 candidates registered for the test. Among them, 8,69,959 opted for five subjects, 3,63,096 for four, 2,93,660 for three, 31,011 for two, and 11,140 for one subject. The NTA reported that 96.6% of candidates were allocated their preferred cities, with 79% receiving their first choice. Approximately 67,56,321 test instances were generated across all shifts.

For comparison, last year's CUET UG results were declared on July 4. In 2025, exams ran from May 13 to June 4, also over 35 shifts. Registration stood at 13,54,699 candidates, including 6,47,934 girls, 7,06,760 boys, and 5 third-gender students; 10,71,735 candidates appeared for the exams.

The number of participating universities has declined from 283 in 2024 to 239 in 2025. This year's results will determine admissions to undergraduate courses across these institutions.
