CUET UG 2026 Results Announced: Over 11.64 Lakh Candidates Appear, Top Score at 1232.19
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026. Candidates can access their scorecards on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.
According to the NTA, 15,68,867 candidates registered for the exam, of which 11,64,098 appeared. This marks an increase of over 15% in registrations compared to the previous year, when 13,54,699 candidates registered.
The examination was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode between May 11 and May 31, with additional sessions on June 6 and 7. Candidates could choose up to five subjects, resulting in approximately 67,56,327 test instances and 12,906 distinct subject combinations.
Among registered candidates, 7,94,257 were male, 7,74,607 were female, and three belonged to the third gender category. The NTA noted a significant rise in female participation compared to 2025.
The highest aggregate NTA score across five subjects was 1232.19, achieved by one candidate. One candidate scored a perfect 100 percentile in four of their five subjects. Additionally, 22 candidates scored 100 percentile in three subjects, 180 in two subjects, and 3,214 in one subject.
The top 20 candidates by aggregate score ranged from 1232.19 to 1177.65. The second-highest aggregate was 1230.82, followed by 1207.21.
