Congress Demands Resignation of Maharashtra Education Minister Bhuse Within 7 Days Over TET Paper Leak

The Maharashtra unit of the Congress party has demanded the resignation of State Education Minister Dada Bhuse within seven days, holding him responsible for the alleged leak of the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) and other examination papers. The demand was made by Maharashtra NSUI president Sagar Salunkhe on Monday, who warned of a statewide agitation if the minister does not step down.

Salunkhe stated that the leak of the TET and CET examination papers has affected nearly 600,000 students in the state. He compared the incident to the recent NEET paper leak, alleging that the incompetence of the BJP-led government has caused distress to students and parents, shattering their aspirations. He further claimed widespread corruption and maladministration in the Education Department.

As of now, there has been no official response from Minister Dada Bhuse or the state government regarding the allegations. The Congress student wing has announced that it will launch a massive agitation across Maharashtra in collaboration with other parties and organisations if the minister does not resign within the stipulated timeframe.

The TET paper leak is the latest in a series of examination irregularities in the state, raising concerns about the integrity of public examinations and the accountability of education officials. The Congress party has accused the government of failing to safeguard the interests of students and their families.
