Centac Releases Draft Merit List for UG NEET Courses; Objections Due by Aug 19

The Centralised Admission Committee (Centac) has published the draft merit list for undergraduate NEET-based professional courses under the Government, Management, Management (Telugu Minority), and NRI quota. The list is now available on Centac’s official website.

According to an official release, the draft merit list has been prepared based on the cut-off marks prescribed in UG NEET 2026. Special category lists for Union Territory candidates, including Meritorious Sports Persons, Persons with Disabilities, Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, and Government School Students, have also been published.

Candidates can check the verification status of their submitted applications by logging into their respective dashboards. Any objections or certificates that need to be uploaded may be submitted through the dashboard under the 'objections' link before 5 p.m. on August 19, the release stated.

Additionally, candidates whose claims have been rejected due to the non-submission of recently renewed Revenue Certificates are urged to upload the proper documents before the same deadline. The seat matrix for UG-based courses has been published on the Centac website, and candidates may update their course preferences, if necessary, for Round 1 allotment.

The committee has warned that final admission will be subject to the physical verification of documents. Any candidate found to have submitted forged documents will have their candidature cancelled and face legal action as per law. For further details, candidates can visit www.centacpuducherry.in or submit queries via the Grievance option in their login dashboard. They can also contact the helpline number 0413-2655570.
