CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation: 87% of Requests Processed, Results Out
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the outcomes for over 87% of the 1.6 lakh applications received for verification of marks and re-evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets. The results were published on Sunday, July 21, 2024, through the official DigiLocker results portal.
In a statement, the board clarified that the remaining applications are being processed in phases and will be declared shortly. CBSE assured students that each request was examined through a transparent and monitored mechanism to ensure fairness and accuracy in the evaluation process.
Students who applied for the post-result services can check their updated scorecards or revised marks on DigiLocker. The board urged candidates to regularly check the portal for updates.
This development comes after CBSE received a large number of applications for re-checking and re-evaluation following the announcement of Class 12 results earlier this year. The process allows students to seek a review of their answer sheets if they believe marks were incorrectly awarded or totalled.
