Bokaro Student Tops CBSE Class 12 Science After Biology Marks Revised

Aditya Mishra, a Class 12 student from Bokaro, has become a joint national topper in the Science stream after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) revised his Biology score upward by three marks following a re-evaluation. His total in the best five subjects now stands at 498 out of 500.

This development comes shortly after Ranchi's Avni Kejriwal achieved a perfect 500 out of 500 after a similar re-evaluation process.

Aditya, who is preparing for the NEET examination, said, 'I want to serve mankind as a doctor.' He expressed gratitude to his teachers for encouraging him to apply for re-evaluation. 'My teachers thought the score was less than expected. Since I was busy preparing for the NEET examination, I did not focus much on it,' he explained.

The CBSE announced the Class 12 results on May 13, in which Aditya scored 99.20% aggregate, with 96 marks in Biology. After his parents and teachers submitted the paper for re-evaluation, the board added three marks, raising his Biology score to 99.
