AIBE 21 Results Declared: Over 1.15 Lakh Candidates Qualify, Pass Percentage at 65.92%

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced the results of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XXI for the year 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now view and download their scorecards from the official candidate portal at allindiabarexamination.com. The council has also released the final answer key and detailed result statistics alongside the declaration.

According to the BCI, a total of 1,75,701 candidates took the AIBE XXI, comprising 1,10,909 male candidates, 64,784 female candidates, and 8 transgender candidates. The overall pass percentage stands at 65.92%, with 1,15,805 candidates successfully qualifying. However, 59,876 candidates did not meet the qualifying marks, and the results of 20 candidates have been kept pending due to ongoing malpractice investigations.

The AIBE is a mandatory examination for law graduates seeking to practice law in India. The exam assesses candidates on various legal subjects and is conducted by the BCI to ensure minimum standards of legal competency. Candidates who qualify are eligible to obtain a Certificate of Practice from the Bar Council.

To check their results, candidates must log in to the candidate portal using their registration number and date of birth. The BCI has advised candidates to download and save their scorecards for future reference. No physical copies of the results will be sent.
