Teen Rifle Shooter Missing in West Bengal, Last Seen at Howrah Station

State-level rifle shooter Damayanti Sen, 15, has been missing since Thursday morning in West Bengal's Howrah district, police said.

According to her family, residents of Umacharan Bhattacharya Lane in Central Howrah, Damayanti left home around 9 am to buy milk from a nearby shop. When she did not return by 9:30 am, her family began searching. They initially looked for her near the river, thinking she might have gone for a walk, but could not find her.

The family then approached the police. Damayanti was last seen at Howrah railway station, she was wearing pink clothes. She was not carrying her mobile phone at the time of her disappearance.

Damayanti practices at Olympian Joydeep Karmakar's rifle shooting training centre. Her family and police are appealing for any information about her whereabouts.
