Puducherry Gears Up for NEET Re-exam: Special Buses for 4,324 Students

A total of 4,324 students are set to appear for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) re-examination in Puducherry on Sunday. The exam will be conducted across nine centres in the Union Territory.

The district administration has put in place extensive arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination, with around 200 personnel deployed for security and management. In a move to facilitate candidates, the Pondicherry Road Transport Corporation will operate special buses from the New Bus Stand to the exam centres. Students can avail this service free of cost.

All NEET coaching centres in Puducherry have been directed to remain closed on Sunday. A control room has also been set up to oversee the conduct of the examination and address any issues that may arise, according to an official release.
