PM Modi to Discuss Deregulation Reforms with Top Bureaucrats on Tuesday
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet all Central secretaries on Tuesday to review progress on deregulation and other reforms aimed at improving the 'ease of doing business' and 'ease of living', official sources confirmed.
This meeting comes immediately after the Prime Minister's official visit to Seychelles, which concludes on Monday. He is expected to chair the briefing upon returning to the national capital.
This will be the second major institutional interaction between the Prime Minister and the top bureaucracy in less than two months. On May 21, he chaired a joint meeting of the Union Council of Ministers and Central Secretaries to develop regulatory roadmaps toward achieving the vision of a developed India, or 'Viksit Bharat'.
The upcoming session is part of the government's ongoing efforts to streamline regulations and reduce bureaucratic hurdles, with a focus on fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for citizens.
