Paper Leaks a National Concern, Not Political: Gujarat BJP President

Gujarat BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma on Thursday said that question paper leaks are a matter of national concern and accused opposition parties of giving it a political colour.

Speaking at a press conference at the party's state headquarters in Gandhinagar, Vishwakarma recounted instances of paper leaks in states ruled by the Congress and other opposition parties. He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking the strictest steps to address the issue.

Vishwakarma alleged that instead of discussing the matter in Parliament, the opposition is constantly changing the 'goalpost' and spreading anarchy.

The previous day, Vishwakarma held a sit-in protest outside the Gujarat Congress office in Ahmedabad, responding to the party's protest outside the Prime Minister's residence in Delhi over the same issue.
