NTA Releases Re-NEET OMR Sheet and Provisional Answer Key 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets and provisional answer keys for the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination, which was conducted on June 21, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access these documents on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
The OMR sheet shows the responses recorded for each candidate during the examination. Alongside, the provisional answer key provides the correct answers as determined by the NTA. Candidates are advised to verify their responses against the answer key to check for any discrepancies.
To download the OMR sheet, candidates need to log in to the official website using their application number and password or date of birth. Once logged in, they can navigate to the response sheet section, view it online, and save a copy for future reference.
The NTA has also opened a challenge window for candidates who believe there are errors in their OMR sheet or the provisional answer key. Objections can be submitted online through the official portal. The last date to submit challenges is July 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM. A non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question or response challenged will be charged. Challenges received after the deadline will not be entertained.
After reviewing all valid objections, the NTA will release the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the Re-NEET UG 2026 results. The response sheet is a crucial tool for candidates to estimate their likely score before the results are declared. The official marking scheme awards four marks for each correct answer and deducts one mark for each incorrect answer in the multiple-choice questions.
Candidates are advised to carefully check their OMR sheet and answer key, and to raise objections only if they have genuine concerns. The process ensures transparency and accuracy in the evaluation.
