NEET UG 2026 Results Expected by July 20: Over 20 Lakh Candidates Await Scorecards

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the results for the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination shortly, with reports indicating a likely declaration by July 20. More than 20 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam on June 21 are awaiting their scorecards.

According to news agency ANI, the results will be published on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check their scorecards by logging in with their application number and password.

In a related development, the NTA has extended the deadline for candidates to submit their bank account details for refund of the examination fee paid for the May 3 test. The new deadline is July 31. So far, 11.46 lakh candidates have completed this process.

The NTA has also released the seat matrix, which shows that 9,911 new MBBS seats have been added this year, as reported by the National Medical Commission.

Candidates who appeared for the May 3 examination are eligible for a fee refund and must provide their bank account information through the facility made available by the NTA. For further details, students can visit the official NTA website or the Indian Express Education Portal.
