NBEMS Recruitment 2026: Apply for 53 Group B and C Posts from July 7
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has revised the schedule for its recruitment drive announced through a notification dated June 2, 2026. Due to administrative reasons, the online application process will now commence on July 7, 2026 instead of the originally planned date.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official NBEMS website until July 31, 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 53 vacancies across various Group B and Group C posts. The available positions include 2 posts for Deputy Director (Medical), 1 for Junior Programmer, 4 for Junior Accountant, 7 for Stenographer, and 39 for Junior Assistant. NBEMS has stated that the number of vacancies may be subject to change based on requirements.
Eligibility criteria vary by post. For Deputy Director (Medical), candidates must possess a recognised postgraduate medical qualification and be no older than 35 years. Junior Programmer applicants need a BTech, BE, BCA, or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics. Junior Accountant candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Commerce. Stenographer applicants require a Class 12 pass certificate along with proficiency in shorthand and typing. Junior Assistant applicants need Class 12 qualification and basic computer knowledge.
The application fee is Rs 1,500 plus 18% GST for General, OBC, and UR category candidates. SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates are exempt from the fee. Additional bank charges may apply.
The selection process will involve a Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage I, followed by a Computer Knowledge/Skill Test (Stage II) for applicable posts. There will be no interview for Group B and Group C positions.
Candidates are advised to visit the official NBEMS website once the application window opens, register with accurate details, fill out the form, upload required documents, pay the fee if applicable, and submit. Care should be taken to verify all information before final submission, as no changes will be allowed later. The exam date will be announced separately on the NBEMS website.
