Kerala Launches 'KSHEC Listens' Platform for Feedback on Four-Year Degree Programme
The Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) has introduced a new feedback platform called 'KSHEC Listens' to collect concerns, experiences, suggestions, and opinions from students, teachers, and the public regarding the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP). The platform aims to address issues in the implementation of the new degree structure.
Feedback can be submitted through KSHEC's official social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, as well as via email. The council's vice-chairperson, Achuthsankar S. Nair, will also hold online meetings with college teachers to discuss the programme.
In addition, five teachers and five students per day will have the opportunity to visit the KSHEC office in Thiruvananthapuram to meet the vice-chairperson in person and share their views. Appointments for such visits can be arranged by emailing heckerala@gmail.com. More information is available on the council's website: www.kshec.kerala.gov.in.
The FYUGP is a major reform in undergraduate education in Kerala, aimed at providing flexibility and interdisciplinary learning. The feedback platform is part of an effort to ensure smooth implementation through direct stakeholder engagement.
