Karnataka: NEET Qualifiers Can Now Register for UG-CET Until July 24
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened a fresh application link for candidates who qualified in the UG-NEET exam but have not yet applied for the UG-CET. The window will remain open until July 24.
A separate link will be provided soon for candidates who had already applied for UG-CET and now wish to link their NEET roll number with their existing CET application. Those who have not applied can do so afresh.
H. Prasanna, Executive Director of KEA, stated that seats will be allotted based on NEET exam rank for admission to medical, dental, Ayurveda, Unani, and Homoeopathy courses. Non-Karnataka candidates may also register on the KEA portal and pay the fee. They must upload their Class XII marks card during registration and are not required to appear for document verification.
However, Overseas Citizens of India, Persons of Indian Origin, Non-Resident Indians, and foreign candidates, as well as non-Karnataka candidates eligible for religious minority or NRI ward seats or specific seats at St. John's Medical College, must book a slot and attend document verification on dates assigned by KEA. These dates will be announced later.
