Delhi Student Panshul Bansal Achieves Perfect Score in NEET-UG Re-examination

For most National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) aspirants, a score of 701 marks would be a cause for celebration, securing admission to a premier medical college. However, for Panshul Bansal, a 17-year-old student from Delhi, it was merely the beginning. In the re-examination held on June 21, after the original test was cancelled, Bansal improved his score to 750, securing All India Rank (AIR) 1.

Bansal, a student of Somerville School in Kailash Colony, expressed surprise at his achievement. 'I was expecting a good college even with my first score, maybe VMMC or somewhere similar. But I wasn’t expecting this,' he said. He attributed his success to consistent hard work and dedication.

The NEET-UG re-examination was conducted after the original test was cancelled due to irregularities. Bansal's remarkable performance has drawn attention, and he now aims to secure admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

His achievement underscores the importance of perseverance and the rigorous preparation required for one of the country's most competitive medical entrance exams.
