Delhi Heat Persists Despite Cloudy Skies: IMD Forecasts No Relief in Coming Week

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast partly cloudy skies for Delhi on Tuesday, with maximum temperatures ranging between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius. The weather office has not issued any warning for the capital, indicating no significant weather-related threats.

According to the IMD's extended forecast, daytime temperatures are expected to remain above the seasonal average despite the ongoing monsoon. From Wednesday through Sunday, Delhi will continue to experience partly cloudy conditions, with maximum temperatures largely staying in the 37-39 degrees Celsius range and minimum temperatures between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius.

The IMD stated that a significant change in temperature over the next seven days is unlikely, meaning residents can expect little relief from the heat in the immediate future. The forecast aligns with typical late-summer patterns in the region, where cloud cover offers limited cooling.
