Delhi AAP seeks L-G intervention for probe into alleged procurement scams
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Sanjeev Jha has written to Delhi Lieutenant Governor T.S. Sandhu, requesting a meeting and a thorough investigation into alleged irregularities in the procurement of bicycles, medicines, and rice by the city government. 'On any serious issue concerning the interests of the people of Delhi, the AAP and the Opposition will fulfil their responsibility with full strength,' Mr. Jha said, indicating that the party intends to pursue the matter at both the administrative and political levels.
According to Mr. Jha's letter, a delegation of all Opposition MLAs, along with AAP state president Saurabh Bharadwaj, wishes to meet the L-G to present the available information and documents.
