The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is recalibrating its political strategy in Punjab, aiming to establish a direct footprint in rural areas that have traditionally been the stronghold of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and, more recently, jailed MP Amritpal Singh.
