Actor Saanvi Talwar Alleges Misconduct by Co-star Karan Kundrra on TV Show Set

Actor Saanvi Talwar has come forward with allegations against co-star Karan Kundrra, claiming he kissed her without her consent during a scene and later slapped her on the set of the television show 'Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum'. In a recent interview, Talwar recounted incidents that she said occurred nearly a decade ago.

Talwar told Telly Masala that while filming a romantic sequence, Kundrra kissed her before the director gave the cue. She said she slapped him in response, as per the script, but then he left the set. When he returned after 10–15 minutes, she alleged, he slapped her hard enough to knock her to the ground. She claimed no crew member intervened or supported her.

“He abused me and my parents. I took my car and went home, thinking I didn’t want to work anymore,” Talwar said.

Talwar further stated that producer Ekta Kapoor later contacted her, apologised on Kundrra’s behalf, and assured her the show would continue. Kapoor reportedly told her, “Whatever you want will happen, but the show must go on.”

Talwar also addressed speculation about her relationship with Kundrra, claiming he was the one who showed interest in her, not the other way around. She alleged that a bathroom scene made her uncomfortable, leading her to speak to Kundrra's then-girlfriend, Anusha Dandekar. After that, Dandekar began visiting the set regularly, which Talwar said changed the atmosphere and made working difficult.

Karan Kundrra has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of this report.
