Actor-Entrepreneur Parul Gulati Buys Goa Villa, Plans to Rent It Out
Actor and entrepreneur Parul Gulati has purchased a villa in Goa, named Malkin House, for Rs 2.7 crore with an additional Rs 40 lakh in taxes. She plans to rent it out on a short-term basis.
In a recent vlog, Gulati shared that she bought the property during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, a period when her hair extensions brand Nish Hair generated her first Rs 1 crore in revenue. She had earlier considered renting the villa for Rs 40,000 per night based on a conversation with financial influencer Sharan Hegde, but has since acknowledged that market rates will determine the final price.
Gulati emphasized that she does not intend to live in Goa permanently, preferring to visit occasionally. The villa features a minimalist white design with furnishings sourced from her travels. Possession of the property was delayed multiple times due to lockdowns and other reasons, with full possession obtained only in 2025.
The villa includes a pool and is designed to maximize natural light and air. Gulati has decorated it with items collected from her trips, and some rooms feature distinct colour themes, such as black and brown accents.
