500 Specialist Doctor Posts: Telangana Publishes Provisional Merit List
The Telangana Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) has released the provisional merit list for 500 Civil Assistant Surgeon (Specialist) posts in the departments of General Medicine, General Surgery, Radiology, and Orthopaedics.
Certificate verification for shortlisted candidates is scheduled from July 17 to 20 at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare (IIFHW) in Vengal Rao Nagar, Hyderabad. July 21 has been set aside as a reserve day for candidates who need to submit pending documents or could not attend on their scheduled date.
According to a web notice issued on Wednesday (July 15), the Board had earlier published applicant details on February 19, inviting objections. After examining the objections, the provisional merit lists for the four specialties have now been finalised. Merit lists for the remaining specialties will be released later.
The ongoing recruitment is part of 1,623 Civil Assistant Surgeon (Specialist) posts notified in August 2025. Earlier, on April 7, the Health Minister handed over appointment letters to 692 specialist doctors. With the release of provisional merit lists for another 500 posts, recruitment for the remaining 431 notified vacancies is yet to be completed.
