Wakad businesswoman files FIR over Rs 5 crore extortion threat from alleged Bishnoi aide

The Pimpri Chinchwad police on Friday lodged a First Information Report (FIR) after a 34-year-old businesswoman from Wakad reported receiving extortion calls from a man identifying himself as Arzoo Bishnoi, an aide of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

According to the FIR filed at the Wakad police station, the woman runs a cloud kitchen business and resides on Park Street in Wakad. She stated that she received a WhatsApp call on Thursday from an international number. The caller claimed to be Arzoo Bishnoi and demanded Rs 5 crore, threatening to kill her and her family if the payment was not made.

The FIR further notes that her husband, who is based in Dubai, received a similar extortion call from the same number, also demanding Rs 5 crore. The police are investigating the case and attempting to trace the caller.
