Uttar Pradesh Home Guard Result 2026: Over 1 Lakh Candidates Qualify for Physical Test

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the results for the Home Guard recruitment examination for 2026. Candidates who appeared for the written test can now check their results on the official website upprpb.gov.in.

According to the board, a total of 1,07,221 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, which includes Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST). These vacancies aim to fill 41,424 positions in the Uttar Pradesh Home Guard.

The written examination was conducted on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026. The merit list was prepared based on candidates' performance in the written test, following the reservation policy of the Uttar Pradesh government. The number of shortlisted candidates is approximately 2.6 times the total vacancies.

Candidates can check their results by visiting the UPPRPB website, clicking on the UP Home Guard Result 2026 link, and entering their registration number and date of birth. It is advised to download and save a printed copy of the result for future reference.

The board has stated that the schedule for the Document Verification and Physical Standard Test will be announced separately on the official website. Candidates are urged to regularly check the portal for updates on dates, venues, and instructions. The board also advised candidates to verify the details in their result and noted that objections or discrepancies will be addressed as per the board's final decision.
