UPTET 2026 Result Expected Soon: Over 2.27 Lakh Candidates Await Scores

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is set to announce the UPTET 2026 results soon. More than 2.27 lakh candidates who appeared for the examination are eagerly awaiting their scores. Once declared, the results will be made available on the official website, upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates will need to enter their roll number and password to access their scores.

The UPTET 2026 examination was conducted over three days — July 2, 3, and 4 — at examination centres spread across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The exam was held for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, which are aimed at aspirants for primary and upper primary teaching positions, respectively. According to UPESSC, a total of 2,27,481 candidates had registered for the exam, a significant number of whom are from outside the state.

Following the exam, UPESSC released the provisional answer key on July 8. With the answer key process now completed, attention has turned to the final result. The commission had earlier issued the exam city information on June 22, and admit cards on June 30. Candidates are advised to keep track of the official website for the latest updates on the result.

To clear the exam, candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks set by the commission. For the general category, the qualifying percentage is 60 per cent, while for reserved categories it is 55 per cent. Those who qualify will be awarded the UPTET eligibility certificate, which is valid for a lifetime.

Once the result is declared, candidates can follow these steps to view their scores: visit the official UPESSC website, click on the UPTET 2026 result link, enter their roll number and password, and submit. The scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the scorecard for future reference.

The scorecard is expected to contain essential details such as the candidate's name, registration number, date of birth, gender, father's name, category, qualifying status, overall marks, and subject-wise marks. UPTET serves as a crucial eligibility test for those seeking teaching jobs in government and aided schools across Uttar Pradesh. A qualifying score is mandatory for recruitment.

Given the significance of this result, candidates are urged to rely solely on the official UPESSC website for authentic information. They should avoid unverified sources and social media rumours regarding the result date or scoring. The commission is likely to make an official announcement soon, and all information will be updated on the official website.
