UPSC Opens Applications for 241 Posts: Last Date July 31

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications for recruitment to 241 Group A and Group B posts across various ministries and departments. The vacancies include positions such as Assistant Soil Chemist, Prosecutor, and Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor in multiple disciplines.

Interested candidates can apply through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal at upsc.gov.in. The deadline for submission is July 31, 2026. Applicants can print the confirmation page until August 1, 2026.

Eligibility criteria vary by post. For instance, Assistant Soil Chemist applicants require a Master's degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Chemistry with specialisation. Law-related posts need a law degree and relevant experience. Medical posts demand MBBS, postgraduate qualifications, and teaching or professional experience. Age limits and relaxation for reserved categories follow government rules.

To apply, candidates must complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the ORA portal, log in, select the desired post under Advertisement No. 08/2026, fill in details, upload documents, pay fees if applicable, and submit. The commission advises reading the official notification thoroughly before applying.
