UP Board Announces Compartment, Improvement Exams for Class 10, 12 on July 28
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will conduct the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 compartment and improvement examinations on July 28, 2025. The Class 10 exam will be held in the morning shift from 8:30 am to 11:45 am, while the Class 12 exam will take place in the evening shift from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
According to the official schedule, the Class 10 internal assessment and project-based practical exams, as well as the Class 12 practical exams, are scheduled for July 16 and 17. These exams will be conducted at designated exam centres set by the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) at the respective district headquarters.
Students appearing for the compartment and improvement exams are advised to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the UPMSP. Mobile phones, smartwatches, and any other electronic devices are prohibited inside the examination halls. To pass, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject.
Compartment exams are for students who failed in one or two subjects, while improvement exams allow students to better their scores. The UPMSP has urged all candidates to check their admit cards and exam centre details in advance and to report on time.
