Thousands Join Silent Candle March for Justice in Pune Township

Residents of Lodha Belmondo township in Gahunje, Pune, joined the family of Ketan Agarwal in a silent candle march on Saturday evening, demanding justice. The march began at the Ganesh temple within the township and proceeded to the clubhouse, with participants carrying candles and placards bearing Ketan's photograph and messages seeking justice.

Close to a thousand residents participated, joined by Ketan's parents, sister, grandfather, and uncle. Walkers, many dressed in white, moved silently through the township, while others lined the route to show solidarity. At the end, participants arranged candles to form the words "Justice for Ketan" and offered prayers for the bereaved family.

Ketan's father, Vishal Agarwal, expressed gratitude to the gathering, stating, "So many people have come out today for my child. They have looked upon him as their own son and gathered here. I thank them from the bottom of my heart."
