Telangana Police Recruitment: Online Applications for 7,437 Posts Begin August 19

The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) will open online applications for 7,437 vacancies across the Police, Special Protection Force (SPF), Fire Services, and Prisons Departments from August 19. The application window will remain open until 5 p.m. on September 9.

The recruitment board, which issued four notifications on July 29, has clarified that applications will be accepted only through its official website. The portal will be accessible from 8 a.m. on August 19. Any application submitted through other modes will be summarily rejected.

Fee structure for the recruitment process has been set based on post categories. For Sub Inspector-level posts in Police, SPF, Fire Services, and Prisons, the one-time fee is ₹750 for Telangana SC/ST candidates and ₹1,500 for all others. For Police Constable, Fire Fighter, and Prison Warder posts, the fee is ₹600 for Telangana SC/ST candidates and ₹1,200 for all others. The same rates apply to technical posts such as Assistant Sub Inspector (Fingerprint Bureau), Police Constable (Driver), and Police Constable (Mechanic).

The one-time fee covers the entire recruitment process, including application processing, preliminary written examination, physical measurement and efficiency tests, final written examination, certificate verification, biometric authentication, and result processing. For eligible posts, technical, trade, and driving tests will also be conducted.

Candidates applying under more than one common procedure regimen will undergo only one Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test, with results considered for all posts applied for. They will also receive a fee concession of ₹100 per additional regimen for OC and BC candidates, and ₹50 for SC and ST candidates.

The TSLPRB has advised candidates to download the Aadhaar app before submitting Part I of the online application to complete Aadhaar-based face authentication. Applicants are also advised to retain a printed copy of the submitted application for future reference. Helpline numbers are available on the board's website for assistance.
