Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Hands Over Appointment Orders to 401 New Government Employees

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, handed over appointment orders to 401 candidates recruited by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). The recruits include 383 Assistant Engineers and 18 Assistant Accounts Officers.

The ceremony took place at Kalaivanar Arangam on Wallajah Road in Chennai. Minister R. Nirmalkumar, Chief Secretary M. Sai Kumar, Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited Chairman and Managing Director J. Radhakrishnan, Energy Secretary Anil Meshram, and other officials were present at the event.

The appointment orders mark the culmination of a rigorous selection process conducted by the TNPSC, which is responsible for recruiting staff for various state government departments. The new appointees are expected to commence their duties shortly, contributing to the state's administrative and technical workforce.
