SSC CGL 2026 Registration Ends Today: 12,256 Vacancies Up for Grabs

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the application window for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 today, June 22, at 11 pm. The registration process, which began on May 21, 2026, has been open for a month. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can still apply through the official website, ssc.gov.in, or via the 'my SSC' mobile application available on the Google Play Store.

The commission has announced approximately 12,256 vacancies tentatively for this recruitment cycle. The posts to be filled include Assistant Audit Officer, Inspector of Income Tax, Sub Inspector, Auditor, and many others. A full list is available in the official notification.

Importantly, the application module does not require candidates to upload a pre-existing photograph. Instead, the system will capture a photograph of the candidate while filling out the form. Candidates are advised to ensure they are in front of a camera when prompted.

Before submitting the application, candidates must verify all entered details. It is recommended to save and print a copy of the submitted form for future reference. The SSC has emphasised that applications must be submitted only in online mode; no offline submissions will be accepted.

For the latest updates and notifications, candidates should regularly check the official SSC website.
