Sanjay Raut demands probe into alleged unaccounted donations for Ayodhya temple

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Friday called for an investigation into the alleged non-acknowledgement of donations made by the undivided Shiv Sena and party chief Uddhav Thackeray for the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Raut claimed that a four-kg silver brick donated by the undivided Shiv Sena and Rs 1 crore contributed by Thackeray remain unaccounted for by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He stated that despite the donation being made in the presence of party leaders, workers, and religious figures, no receipt or communication has been received from the trust.

The allegation adds to the ongoing controversy over transparency in donations linked to the Ram temple trust. The trust has not yet responded to the claims.
