Russian strikes near Kyiv kill 3, including a child, Ukrainian official reports
At least three people, including a child, were killed in Russian strikes on Saturday (August 8, 2026) in the region surrounding Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, a senior regional official said.
Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv regional administration, said the strikes were recorded at three locations in the Boryspil district, which lies to the east of the capital. Three more people were injured in the attack, he added.
