RBI Releases Grade B Officer Prelims Result 2026; Merit List PDF Available

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the preliminary examination results for the recruitment of Officer Grade B (General) 2026. Candidates who appeared for Phase I can now check the merit list in PDF format on the official website rbi.org.in to see if they have been shortlisted for the next stage.

The Phase I examination was conducted on June 13, 2026. The published PDF contains only the roll numbers of candidates who have successfully cleared the exam and will proceed to Phase II. Individual scorecards and category-wise cut-off marks are expected to be released separately on the RBI website in due course.

How to check the result:

1. Visit the official website at http://www.rbi.org.in
2. Click on the “Opportunities at RBI” link on the homepage
3. Click on “Current vacancies”
4. Click on the “Results” section
5. A new window will open displaying the result PDF
6. Download and save the PDF for future reference

Candidates can also directly access the merit list PDF via the link: https://rbidocs.rbi.org.in/rdocs/content/pdfs/WEBROLLDISPLAY25062026.pdf. To view the PDF, candidates need their roll number and date of birth.

According to the official notification, shortlisted candidates were required to appear for the Phase II examination scheduled for July 25, 2026. The exam was conducted in two shifts, covering three papers: Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III. A single admit card was issued for both shifts, containing details such as reporting time, venue address, candidate name, and roll number. The RBI had stated that no requests for a change in venue, shift, or examination date would be entertained.

The recruitment notification (Advertisement No. RBISB/DA/01/2026-27) was issued on April 29, 2026, with the online application window opening the same day and closing on May 20, 2026.
