PM Vows Strict Action Against Exam Paper Leakers, Announces Reforms to Secure Exams

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared that the government will take stringent action against those involved in leaking examination papers, while also working to make the entire exam process foolproof. Addressing concerns over recent paper leaks that have disrupted several competitive examinations, the Prime Minister said that no one involved in such malpractices will be spared.

Speaking at an event, Modi emphasised the importance of merit and fairness in the examination system. He stated that the government is implementing technological and administrative reforms to prevent future leaks. These include digital encryption, secure transportation of question papers, and real-time monitoring of examination centres.

The Prime Minister's remarks come in the wake of multiple exam paper leaks that have affected lakhs of students across the country. Investigations are underway, and several arrests have been made. The government has also set up a special task force to probe these cases and ensure swift justice.

Modi further called upon state governments to cooperate in creating a robust examination ecosystem. He stressed that the integrity of exams is crucial for the future of the youth and the nation's development. The Prime Minister also warned against 'dhurandhar lawyers' who exploit legal loopholes to defend paper leakers, indicating that the government will strengthen laws to close such gaps.
